[Lnc-business] student memberships for $10?

I'll propose the opposite question first: would any student care if they
weren't considered a "bylaws sustaining member"? Would they even know
what that meant or care to listen to an answer? I probably wouldn't
bring it up, though might put it in the fine print.

Why join is in the "benefits TBD".

I can imagine the benefits including whatever seems to work, such as a
nice shirt, a nice set of bumper stickers and other stuff, special
access to Dr. Jim Lark, a membership card, a free candidate for
President yard sign or window decal, or a free book, LP News if they
check the box requesting it, etc. Whatever we can afford. Probably not
an AR-15. I'd experiment to see what students want, plus do some research.

I seem to recall $10 memberships at other student organizations but
didn't want to get too deep into deciding benefits. We have free
memberships now. Plus all these others.
