I thought I was the least photogenic person on the planet. Are there others? LOL

I take strong exception to Dr. Lark's comments, in that I have long considered myself to be the world record holder of the "least photogenic" title. Is the photographer's camera insured? If so, I would suggest that I go first. That way after his camera is destroyed it will save us the cost of the remaining pictures.
As to the timing of this creative destruction, I'd prefer that it not be early in the morning. I'm not an early-morning person, and I'll have a hard enough time adjusting to the Arizona time zone (even though they are not on Daylight Savings Time).

Dear colleagues:
I hope all is well with you. I am planning to attend the meeting. All of the suggested times are fine with me, although the afternoon times may be the better choices; it is not unusual at meetings for at least one member to arrive after the call to order. Since I am the world's least photogenic person, it may be best if I am the last LNC member to be photographed. (This would allow the other members to be photographed before the camera breaks.)
As always, thanks for your work for liberty. I look forward to seeing you again soon.
Take care,
Jim

If people can respond with whether you are attending the meeting and a
preference between doing photos at 8:00 am (before the meeting) or at
12:00 or 12:30 during the lunch break, I'd appreciate it so I can do
scheduling and give the photographer a headcount.

Sam,
I don't know that it'll make a difference after you break the lens of the
photographer.

LNC funds, approximate cost is $100 per person, the photographer will

If the photographer is not donating his or her services, who is paying
for
these photographs of LNC members? How much will these photos cost per
person?
Obviously SOMEONE has to be paying for them, one way or another.
Please don’t assume I am against this project. Having high quality
photos
of LNC members is a good idea.
But since LNC members will receive a copy of the photo, I want to make
sure
the financial arrangements are transparent to our members.

"I'm planning on having a professional photographer do some headshots
and other high-quality images for the media. He's based in Phoenix
and would be able to also do headshots for each member of the LNC in
attendence at this weekend's meeting in Phoenix. The images would be
provided to each member on DVD and also available to update our
website.
I'm thinking Saturday morning would be best, but if people have a
different preference, please let me know.
I wanted to give you the heads up so you can pack appropriately for
how you'd like to appear in photographs.
Nick"

"In general, we look for a new law by the following process. First, we guess it (audience laughter), no, don’t laugh, that’s the truth. Then we compute the consequences of the guess, to see what, if this is right, if this law we guess is right, to see what it would imply and then we compare the computation results to nature or we say compare to experiment or experience, compare it directly with observations to see if it works. If it disagrees with experiment, it’s WRONG. In that simple statement is the key to science. It doesn’t make any difference how beautiful your guess is, it doesn’t matter how smart you are, who made the guess, or what his name is. If it disagrees with experiment, it’s wrong. That’s all there is to it.” -- Richard Feynman (https://tinyurl.com/lozjjps)
