I think one problem that exists with Cali is its a bit expensive from a meeting standpoint but Robert is a magician.. As far as the Left coast goes Seattle would be a location I would like to see considered for a meeting where weather is permitting . Washington is a very active and strong state affiliate and has shown that top two is not the end of the world. It would also put something up in the NW.

Mr. Sarwark's message indicated that after the Nov. 28-29 weekend, the hotel will be in holiday season; as a result, room rates will increase. Thus, I was surprised to observe that the room rate quoted for Nov. 14-15 (before the holiday season begins) is higher than the rate for Dec. 12-13 (after the holiday season begins).

However, it suggests to me that before considering a motion in this matter, we should inquire whether the hotel will make us a similar offer ($95.00 or thereabouts) for a December meeting.

I don't believe the hotel will consider it impertinent of us to request formally a $95.00 rate for a Dec. 12-13 meeting.

If the LNC chooses the Nov. 14-15 meeting date after careful consideration of the situation, so be it. However, before we make the choice, let us ensure that we have investigated the matter fully.
