[Lnc-business] Motion from Mr. Riemers

I started a different thread with these questions as they have nothing to
do with the door hangars from the original thread.

That said, Mr. Roland, could you articulate your rationale behind your
first motion?  I cannot see any reason a background check would not be done
on prospective employees.  This is a very standard practice across all
industries.  Why would we not do it?  It's cheap.  It's effective.  It's
practical.

I think you might also consider making a more detailed case for #2. I for
one would be perfectly fine with it.  While it would make the trip harder
for those further away (myself included), that's just the reality of it.
DC is a pretty well-defined epicenter of government, the LP chose to
purchase a building (or at least part of one) there and while I don't see
this as a huge issue, it would cut down on some costs for staff needing to
travel around.

I don't feel the building is especially suitable for our meetings as it
doesn't really have a large enough meeting space, but the consistency of
meeting in DC would still have numerous advantages.
