The vote test below needs to be met every two years. That means we would
still lose ballot access this November because the LP Pres. Nominee is
almost definitely not going to receive 2.5% of the vote in Oklahoma, or in
any other state. (except that Gary Johnson might get 2.5% in New Mexico).
If there is any way we can get the Legislature to expand the offices that
would satisfy the vote test to all statewide offices including US Senate,
and amend it so that passing the vote test gives 4 years of ballot access, I
would gladly let them increase the percentage to 3% or even 4%.

Richard Winger just alerted me to this:
http://ballot-access.org/2016/01/07/oklahoma-bill-to-ease-definition-of-poli
tical-party/
"Oklahoma State Senator Kyle D. Loveless (R-Oklahoma City) has introduced SB
896. It changes the definition of "political party" from a group that polled
at least 10% for the office at the top of the ballot in the last election
(President or Governor) to 2.5% of the same base. Thanks to E. Zachary
Knight for this news."
