I think it would help the party a lot if we gave a copy of my book to
every new member who signed up along with their membership card. The
thing is, I've already given several hundred if not more than a thousand
of my books to the LP and I just can't afford to give one to every new
member paid for out of my pocket. But, I'm reluctant to have the LP pay
for my books even at cost, for conflict of interest reasons.
I keep very little inventory so don't have any I need to unload. They
are from Amazon's print on demand service--costing me around a few
dollars each plus shipping.
Radicals and moderates have liked my book.
At some point in the future, I may ask the LNC if you would like me to
find someone to pay for a copy of my book (at cost--no profit to me) to
give one to all new members.
Note to millennials: I realize you prefer electronic, but hard copies
are harder to ignore--ceo's and high-tech millionaires have read the
hard copy.
