Thanks Caryn. I am reviewing the stronger version as we speak and am leaning toward supporting the stronger version. I have not heard any justification for not going with the stronger version other than some will not vote in favor of it. I am willing to listen any justification.

I am sorry, I hit send too soon.... But my request is that we hold off going to ballot until members who might be tied up - particularly with ballot access can weigh in.

Sponsor tally thus far:

My original resolution: Harlos, Hays, Katz, Goldstein, Vohra

Starchild's amended resolution: Starchild, Harlos, Vohra

As I said before, I do support Starchild's language and if there were support for that motion, I would support the changes and will solicit the CO Chair's thoughts since I submitted the original resolution at their request.

I heard from another LNC member who may wish to weigh in but was tied up with ballot access issues and I ask that we wait until this member can weigh in.

Sam, Joshua, and Daniel, what are your issues with the changes I proposed? All of you have expressed a preference for the original language, but no one has said anything about why.

I have to confess that the whole email ballot thing is cumbersome.

How do the current co-sponsors feel about these changes?
