[Lnc-business] Weather report

Not entirely. Scott only assigned me the weather task. I do not know if
he gave out the travel task, and if so, to whom. However, just this once,
I am including below my round transportation tip:
You could, of course, take the Metro. It's pretty cheap, nearby, and, best
of all, there is a substantial chance that your car will not burst into
flames before you arrive at the hotel. However, if you're interested in an
easier, and even cheaper, option, read on.
I recommend Uber Black. What, you say, that's not cheaper at all! You
are, if you are saying that, happily incorrect. You can ride Uber Black
from Reagan to the hotel for the low price of FREE, assuming no surge.
1. Before leaving, make sure you have an AMEX card linked to your Uber
account. It must be a credit card, not a debit or prepaid card.
2. On arrival, pick up your bags from baggage claim, if applicable.
3. Enter the promo code AMEXAIRPORT into your Uber app, then select an
AMEX card.
4. Request an Uber Black.
5. Your ride is free.
This promo is good until December 31, and works from only a few airports.
Luckily, Reagan is one of them. (Reagan often spoke wistfully of his
childhood afternoons with the Wright brothers...) It works for rides up to
$65, and this ride is about $40 without a surge. Now, you might be
wondering - what if I am doing other travel this holiday season, and will
again be flying into a select airport? You can use this promo code up to
twice, so don't worry about wasting it. If your ride were to be more than
$65, the $65 would be deducted. Remember, it only works for being picked
up from select airports; it will not get you to the airport.
