[Lnc-business] Biased Resumes

So is there a reason we are only accepting resumes for the Credentials Committee in PDF? Lots of people have resumes saved in doc files.   I pointed out to the person with the dilemma that there are PDF converters online if their current platform didnt have the ability on it to do the conversion..  
That all said, is there a reason for that limitation?
