Deal breakers for me are people attempting to word smith something put up for co sponsors and the merry go round that ensues. I could make spurious allegations about motivations for the 11th..no make that the 12th hour attempt to amend this resolution. I won't because that isn't proper or helpful. Amendment is also a royal headache by email.

I voiced my intent when I stated I was going to do this. I was open and receptive.
I look forward to your affirmative vote when it gains enough co-sponsors.

I was also cognizant of Sam’s wise suggestion to limit the initial effort to 2 or 3 writers. I am all for unity, and accuracy. Let’s correct the omission and run it up the flagpole for approval.

We all are very busy and have lives and stresses. The non-inclusion of something does not mean purposeful exclusion. If I had thought of that, and I am more than happy to share my discussions on my proposals which proposed amendments that were accepted, I would have done so.

However, the reasons for not including such a statement are patently obvious and clearly not intended to make peace with those who supported Arvin’s original legitimate contention. Without the inclusion of something like the statement above, I will reluctantly vote in favor but will not cosponsor. It probably could use some wordsmithing.
