I didn't want to take time at the meeting to say this but I apologize 
for running out the door at 1:45. Unfortunately I have to be in Baton 
Rouge by this evening due to a work obligation.

I chatted with Ms. Lee to express my hope that she and the other members 
of the Youth Engagement Committee reach out to the candidates not 
selected with the goal of keeping them engaged with the Party, national 
and state, however they can. I'm excited at how many applicants we 
received - many bright excited future leaders who have self-selected for 
greater involvement.
