Actually, if you BCC the list, it suspects it might be spam and holds it
for moderator approval.

I received 234 spam messages to my LP e-mail address last week plus
11 already this morning; all arriving in the Inbox and none to the
Junk folder. How many more would I receive from spam sent to a wide
     open Business list?

You're asking us, essentially, to take steps so that people
     are less

It only takes you time to clear the queue, because you hold
     messages
up in a queue in the first place.

The natural result is that the party member then does a "reply
     all",
but they can't post to this list. It creates busy work for the
moderators to go clear those messages from the queue, and the

Others are just confused and then write asking why they can't
     post,
which just makes the entire situation take up even more of our
     time. I
think this has happened more in the past two weeks than it did in
     the
       entire year prior.
Each of you can avoid causing this confusion for others and extra
     work
for me if you don't cc this email list on your external
communications. If you want to forward the LNC a copy of your
