[Lnc-business] Facebook post on student walkouts

"I agree.  It's just as bad, in my opinion, when conservatives start
flinging around kids who disagree.  Using kids to repeat your sound-bites
is just a form of hostage-taking, in that anyone who responds to them comes
off looking bad.  We should just not touch the tar."

The point of my words was to give positive acknowledgment to the energy to
try for political change, while pointing out that the students are being
used as pawns, and invite them to get involved in a political party that
would actually value their contributions once the cameras were off.  It
deliberately did not reference any particular policy, since there are
protests and counter-protests that are advocating for all sorts of
different policies, though the media narrative is for gun control, but that
just makes Joshua's original point.

We should be recruiting these young people.  Our competition definitely is.
Recruitment doesn't usually start with a lecture about why they are wrong
about an issue
