[Lnc-business] [Lnc-votes] LNC members request for Mr. Vohra to resign

For what it is worth,

There was a reason for the Non Aggression Principle. It is extremely important to state, clearly, that we mean what was said. There are many Libertarians out there who want us to be focused on our candidates, and I agree, we SHOULD be focused on our candidates. This was not the first time, and we know it will happen again before the convention if nothing is done, and the reality is that too much time has been devoted to this nonsense.

On a side note, I am sorry that there is not a better mechanism in place for such action, but should walk down this road again before convention? Here in PA, we lost a county affiliate chair. She stuck in till there was another person willing to take the job, but she is done with the LP, and it is all over this. Some will say that people willing to leave over words should go. I personally lost a donor over the matter. (The logic behind that was not fair, but it happened, and it does not make my life as a candidate any easier.)

I have known you for a number of years, and from my standpoint, what you do for the movement is appreciated! Brother, I am so very proud to call you friend! I am hopeful that we can put this matter to bed and go back to doing the work we need to be doing for our candidates, for our party, and for our party’s membership. On another side note, I am so disgusted with the social media drama BS, because it distracts from what truly matters. HOWEVER, most of our membership is sucked into that vortex, and it is horrifying. I would like to see that change as well.

Sincerely,

Steve Scheetz

I am sorry to see this, and unless he denies authorship or disavows the posting in question, I would also ask Arvin Vohra to resign and like Joshua only want to hear from the vice-chair. I would advise against us make this an official LNC matter by voting him off the committee however. I neither support taking such actions in secret nor see value in discussing the matter here which would be the inevitable result of having another official process. The convention is not far off.

Love & Liberty,
