I have Starchild's notes from the last LNC meeting which I will be
including as an appendix to our minutes unless there is an objection.
My style is to include more in our minutes than has been done in the past.
Of course that is the final decision of the LNC. If the LNC decides to
include less I will put out an informal "Secretary's Cut" that has more
detail. I think we do a disservice to history and our members to have
completely sterile minutes. I am sure we will all come to a happy medium,
and I of course, will do, what the body desires.

Since I am very big on transparency, I definitely want more of that.
And while I may want to see more involvement from more people, we
need to still have the ability to give our input at meetings when
the committees report.

Two Ideas I’ve had I hope we’ll revisit/visit at some point down the
road are:
- Outreach Committee (ad hoc): Identity subject experts within the
party already doing outreach to different segments to create a
document affiliates and candidates can use on who to reach out to in
these areas.
- Retention Committee (ad hoc): Survey new members on why they
joined,
survey expired members on why they left and present ideas to the LNC
to improve retention as well as be a team that those who may be
frustrated can reach out to. (A team of the nicest people in the

I know everyone is keen to discuss election reform, the Blockchain
committee should be renewed if at least to work on the compliance
Guide for candidates.
I’d also like to hear from the fundraising and tech staff if there
is
any new promising investments in software or data that can be used
to
increase membership and ground game.

p.S. List your ideas so this way we can always look back to this
thread to see we have or haven’t gotten to yet.
