I think a resolution and an official statement similar to the one
previously made against fascism and nationalism would suffice... The
issue is fairness. There is nothing wrong with denouncing fascism and
nationalism. However, se shouldn't embrace and welcome socialists and
communists. We should denounce them equally. We need to make it clear
as a party that while we may have a few members who speak loudly against
private property rights they're message is not at all in line with the
message of the party. What is wrong with doing that? I wasn't all that
concerned about this minor faction until I started hearing concerns from
people not currently or historically involved in the Libertarian Party
when doing outreach. It is reaching a point where the outside world is
hearing their message and that is not good for the party, especially if
the party just sits back and lets is happen.
