[Lnc-business] Apologies

This information was given while I was going through seeking Governor 
Weld's endorsement. This was while on the phone with a member of that 
circle.

I also want to clarify that this is not about me, if I had found this 
out about any candidate, I would have come forward. I struggled coming 
forward in part because it did involve me.

I would also point that I am not offended at not getting an endorsement. 
I was turned down by Gary Johnson at the time I asked because of his 
involvement with Our American Initiative being his focus. I was also 
turned down by John McAfee because the board of directors in the company 
he is CEO for did not want him political at the time of asking. 
Endorsement rejections happen. Even Larry Sharpe and Nick Sarwark didn't 
endorse me when I asked because I was not yet nominated when I asked and 
the LNC doesn't get involved until nominations are complete (obviously 
this was when Larry was on the LNC). Never once complained about it, 
because no is to be expected for varying reasons from time to time.

I only bring this up because in order to make an approach with someone 
at that status level, it would have to be someone with some standing. I 
also did not want to have trust issues with anyone on this board and it 
was the only way for me to clear that slate.

That being said, I was reached out to by a separate individual within 
Weld's circle who was shocked this had happened. I gave as much 
information as I could remember and he is looking into it on their end.
