I personally (absent some really good reason) will not vote for someone
who is not a member of the national party. Those on national
committees should at least have the minimal commitment (my opinion for
whatever that is worth).

Regardless, it's not a criteria for me on committee selection. One
could be either a member of a state affiliate or LP national. Both,
