   I oppose this. A counterproposal would have to be honored if
   accepted. There's no just meeting of the minds here on what he wants
   and what we would be willing to offer, mostly driven by his unrealistic
   opening offer and his rude insistence that we accept it or reject it as
   presented. Our staff have better things to do than trying to make an
   impossible agreement happen.
