[Lnc-business] Questions to the Chair - Convention Voting Process Committee and Membership Committee votes

It does not matter for purposes of these elections, but since the 2016 NOTA
subject was referenced, I do want to distinguish that situation. NOTA was
not nominated in that election. Nominated candidates are pre-printed on
the state tally sheets. Our convention rules do not say that NOTA shall be
automatically printed on the state tally sheets. Our free-form-entry
ballots easily allow write-ins, and our rules merely say that if someone
does vote for NOTA, though it is an otherwise ineligible candidate, it is
valid and will be handled in a particular way. If NOTA is not pre-printed
on the state tally sheet at convention, it in no way precludes a delegate
from voting for NOTA because it can be written in. I also did not
pre-print the thousands of other write-in options on the tally sheets, yet
delegates were able to write-in other candidates as they pleased.

In the current vote in question, OpaVote did not allow me to write-in
another candidate.
