[Lnc-business] LPIN member omitted from the Bylaws Committee Ballot

Dear Ms. Van Horn,
Unfortunately, there is little that can be done to correct a missing
candidate after the election has occurred. If a member of the committee had
noted the absence of Mr. Hauptmann's application in the packet that we were
given, really at any point prior to the conclusion of the electronic
meeting, we could have done a new ballot including his name.
As the balloting was completed and the meeting adjourned, the committee
would need to vote to rescind the prior election and have an entirely new
election. As was noted on the list, that would put our selection of the
bylaws committee after the deadline that was set for that selection.
I would like to express my apologies to Mr. Hauptmann for the error on
behalf of the committee and wish him success in his application for the
Platform Committee.
Yours truly,
Nick
