[Lnc-business] why are we actively soliciting refunds

Okay, I have not said anything but I am perturbed that while we have a
convention pending we are actively encouraging people to get a refund now.
It seems self-sabotaguing. And I am now convinced. A member wrote me
about a refund. I asked to speak with him. The only reason he was asking
was because "the chair said we should and seemed to pushing that."
He really did not want one if we are going to have a convention but said
our messaging is leading everyone to believe we won't.
I have an issue with that.
A simple phone call about what our decisions actually were kept $500 in our
coffers. Why are we putting out self-sabotaguing messaging?
