[Lnc-business] Orlando in-person convention

I think the in-person convention in Orlando should be cancelled and am
prepared to so vote. I ask other LNC members who agree with me to speak
up on this list.

At the very least, another poll regarding attendees should be taken,
because I surmise plans of many people are changing.

In the previous poll, Julie Fox voted that she was likely to attend, but
she just told me that she is now not going.

I previously voted that I was sure to attend. If I were to vote today
in a poll, I would vote "unlikely to attend" due to my work travel
schedule and quarantine issues after leaving Florida on July 12. I have
not decided for sure.

I think the actual attendance numbers will be far lower than stated in
the poll that was taken.

I hope to participate online, but that will be dependent on a two-thirds
vote of the delegates in attendance. While I have been told that remote
participation for the convention will likely pass, I don't think any LP
delegate should be put in the position of having to go to Orlando or be
dependent on that vote to participate in the convention.

It would be far better to have a second online convention for LNC
officers, LNC At-Large and Judicial Committee and not address Bylaws or
Platform until the May 2022 convention in Reno.
