What this means is that if the Libertarian were not in the race, the
Democrat would beat the Republican by a few tenths of a percent more than
the current situation.


In other words - this will be yet another election that proves Libertarian
candidates usually help Republican candidates, albeit by only a few tenths
of a percentage point.  And yet, Republicans still use legal and illegal
means to knock Libertarians off the ballot.
