[Lnc-business] Spoiler effect in North Carolina

Just asking the question is push-polling, unless you ask it in all
combinations.  So this poll is invalid.

That aside, I suspect that Republicans often wish to keep Libertarians
off the ballot, not because of 'lost votes' in the current election,
but because the presence of Libertarians puts the lie to their claims
to be for small government.

More importantly, in so-called 'spoiled' races, Libertarians would
generally not have voted Republican, but Republicans would have voted
Libertarian had there been no Republican.  So if they're so concerned,
they should just pull out of those races.
