[Lnc-business] Dates to avoid in February and March?

With all due respect to the At-Large LNC Representative from Indiana, here
is a list of the number of LNC Sessions per time zone for this term's LNC
Sessions. I have added in the final LNC Session of this term, which will be
held in

Orlando, Florida in MAY 2016.

Eastern 4

Central 1

Mountain 1

Pacific 0

One of the criteria that we use to determine the location of LNC Sessions is
to more or less equalize the travel burden amongst LNC Representatives and
Officers.

I think the above numbers argue for a Pacific Time Zone location for our
last full-weekend LNC Session of this term.

I suggest you hold off a little while in your sponsorship of Mr. Goldstein's
motion and let staff come up a few proposals

from San Francisco or Los Angeles, and see if they are acceptable to staff
and to us.

Ok, if no one else wants to start the process, then I'm seeking co-sponsors
for the following motion:

"The dates for the first LNC meeting of 2016 will be March 5-6. The meeting
will be held at Indianapolis, IN"

There are several LNC members within driving distrance, flights and hotels
are fairly reasonable and there has

been no LNC presense in Indiana since the 2000 Convention.

Before we come to any decisions on a our next LNC meeting, it would be good
to know what conflicts, if any, people may have with dates in February or
March. I'd therefore request that anyone with a date conflict announce it
on this list as soon as possible. If you know of a conflict, and don't
announce it, you'll have less of an excuse to complain if we end of picking
that date.

For myself, the only conflict I know of is on February 7th, when the Packers
are expected to be playing in the Superbowl.
