[Lnc-business] Motion to Suspend

Brett,

Hopefully they show up to their own convention and select responsive leadership and participate themselves other than when they want to "break" stuff.

Also, I don't think it's the duty to bring EVERY suggested motion from members of a Region on the part of the Reps. If I felt a motion had widespread support, I would poll my chairs to see if they felt it was representative of their members position.

Also, I am extra laden with typos this morning. On top of that I meant to day INSIDES not outside in one of my other nails I believe. Without looking, I meant that there was not sufficient notice time for anything else to even be added to the Sept 25th meeting even if it could be added as there are now less than 10 days to the meeting.

Also regarding the Sept 25th meeting. At the very least we can have questions answered by staff in real time even if we don't have a quorum. Though I would hope we would.

I am gonna take my typos and phone and go sit in the corner over here now....
With a bowl of gumbo.

That candidate's nomination shall then be declared null and void unless the suspended candidate appeals the suspension to the Judicial Committee within seven days of receipt of notification of suspension. The resolution of suspension must state the specific reasons for suspension and must be signed by each member of the National Committee agreeing thereto. The Judicial Committee shall meet and act on this appeal within 30 days and before the election.

As it would be a special meeting the purpose of the meeting would have to be in the call of the meeting. The call for the Sept. 25th meeting did not include this purpose so that could not be brought up then.
