[Lnc-business] Caryn Ann Harlos fundraising and membership recruitment

Daniel I am pretty sure it was discussed in NOLA during that time when
David was challenging us to rise to ambiguous goals. To be brave and try
new things.

This to me is a complete and utter surprise what has gone on today. I
highly recommend that the LNC change its policies so that this happens to
no one else. This is singularly the worst experience I have had on this
committee and certainly does not motivate me to keep innovating. I will
because if I am not at a job to excel I don’t keep it. But to put it
colloquially this has sucked. I stepped up and did a job. I cleared it
through all the required hoops. To say this has turned into a shit show
would be unfair to shit shows.

Daniel I am pretty sure it was discussed in NOLA during that time when
David was challenging us to rise to ambiguous goals. To be brave and
   try new things.
This to me is a complete and utter surprise what has gone on today. I
highly recommend that the LNC change its policies so that this happens
to no one else. This is singularly the worst experience I have had on
this committee and certainly does not motivate me to keep innovating.
I will because if I am not at a job to excel I don’t keep it. But to
put it colloquially this has sucked. I stepped up and did a job. I
cleared it through all the required hoops. To say this has turned into
a shit show would be unfair to shit shows.

     Caryn Ann,
It was mentioned to you by Wes. I was in on the conversation
because you and I are the two most active fundraisers and membership
recruiters on the board. Was that in NOLA or Kansas City?
Wes wanted to experiment with it. This stuff all gets disclosed in
     the Treasurer’s report.
Hopefully, other board members take a more active role in fund
raising going forward. This discussion has been much longer than
it needed to be and much less civil than required.
Now that it’s revealed that I was “involved” that should explain
it. This shall be placed with all my other crimes, including
refusing to re-Life Harambe and have him speak at the NatCon.
I get peoples issue with it, but I was there and understand Wes’s
perspective and agreed with it. I’m more concerned with results.
We have an all too regular habit of tying our shoe’s laces
together. We get lost in the minutia.
