[Lnc-business] Email Ballot 2018-11: ACKNOWLEDGE ELECTION OF JC

Craig - I say this with all deference to your judgment and your new role
which is no longer mine but want you to hear a voice of experience. I also
promised region 1 that I would follow their lead and wishes as long as it
didn't violate my principles or member's rights.

I never had to go against their wishes because none of the above ever came
up. If I were in your shoes right now, I might. Particularly since a
region 1 candidate was pretty screwed by this whole process.

There is no reason that someone asking for election results in a suspect
election should be left hanging. Yes, people are busy. Then you say - you
will have it by XXXX. This ambiguous "well whenever" answer is not
acceptable in this circumstance. I offered to assist in any way I can.
Perhaps there isn't any way I can but lets at least give the member a
definite time frame. That is not an unreasonable request. A few other
members have more demurely inquired.

I really do not like the way we are handling this at all.

There are people looking at us and seeing nothing different than
     the
        government we wish to reform.
There was a controversial election and at least one state chair
     and
candidate has been asking for the state by state rallies with no
     time
        frame given him.
The whole thing was an affront to people expecting an entirely
different thing when they ran. I will not be sanguine about it.
