[Lnc-business] Email Ballot 2018-11: ACKNOWLEDGE ELECTION OF JC

Acknowledging the delegates' top seven is the best way of avoiding this
problem since that means we're not appointing anyone, let alone our own
choices.
Holding a new election, aside from being the most disruptive and
expensive way to solve this problem, and in violation of the Bylaws,
would likely result in two JCs: the top seven chosen by delegates, and
the winners of our election. It's also the surest way to look like
we're trying to seat our own people.

I would remind the committee that according to our bylaws, nobody
was
actually elected by the delegates according to the procedures
laid out.
The LNC rubber stamping a plurality vote does violate the bylaws.
The
LNC asking delegates to revote does not. Is mail the best way?
Perhaps
not, but are there any other ideas that don't make us look like
we are
appointing our own judges in case there is a trial
(metaphorically)?
