[Lnc-business] Email Ballot 2018-11: ACKNOWLEDGE ELECTION OF JC

Couple of problems with this interperation:
1. If we were to say that there was a cascade effect, then we can ONLY
acknowledge the top 5, as that was the suspension of the rules at
convention.
2. However, because the convention was adjourned before we addressed the
Judicial Committee, the original rules would be reverted, requiring
election by majority. Without addressing before adjournment, based on
parliamentary procedures, we HAVE to have a second ballot.
After having thought over the last couple days, this realization came to
me.
On basis #1 we absolutely must reject the motion on top 7. Even if the
cascade could be argued, we cannot override the will of the delegates on
acknowledge two individuals that were outside of the suspension.
On basis #2 we absolutely cannot, in my opinion, continue to acknowledge
anyone. We must uphold our own rules, not just when it is convenient. A
major ball was dropped. We need to rectify this with a second ballot.
I implore members of the LNC to change votes to NO, if they have not
voted yet, to also vote NO. This motion is not within our scope.
Regards,
Craig Bowden
