Perhaps an 8 people selected by each region chairsas in his other motion and a 9th selected by ... I don't know, an election by all the state chairs or something? I agree it should be completely out of our control if it is done.

This is a bylaws issue not a policy manual issue and is just the LNC once
again this term trying to appoint the guard to the henhouse. Will oppose
if it gets enough co-sponsors. If there is to be an Appeals Committee it
should be appointed by the Chairs or some other method that is completely
outside of our control.
