Fun fact! Zoom implemented a meeting password requirement SATURDAY MORNING. WHILE OUR (LPNC) MEETING WAS IN PROGRESS. That was fun.
Anyway, Zoom does allow the host (and co-hosts!) to mute at the individual level in meetings. Not sure about cameras - I’ll try to check next time we have a meeting. The host can, though, exile a troublesome guest if muting does not seem like enough of a quench.
The LPNC has been running nightly social (some more or less political) Zoom sessions as a way of both staying in touch with each other and to get members more conversant with Zoom and vidconferencing in general. I think other state parties and teams have been doing this as well. I think it’s been really useful.
